Project Title: Vocational Center
Project Description:

I’m excited to share an impactful initiative that is close to my heart. This project will help build a vocational center in Tanzania, Africa—an effort aimed at empowering students through practical education and skills training.
Having witnessed firsthand the daily struggles of thousands of students who lack access to training for the future, I believe this center will be a transformative step forward. It will provide students with the tools and training they need to succeed after graduation, opening doors to sustainable livelihoods and brighter futures.
Unbound Wings will work closely with our partner teachers and schools to ensure the program is tailored to the community’s needs and delivers meaningful, lasting impact.

Project Title: ID the Unhoused
Project Description:

Not having a birth certificate and IDs Is a barrier when unhoused. Being undocumented makes it harder for community members to end their unhoused status. These Documents are important for jobs, housing, education, childcare, medical services and other resources.
We look to provide a crucial service for unhoused community members that are working to rebuild their lives. It has become a common issue within the unhoused to replace lost or stolen identification documents.
The program looks to support community members who may have experienced domestic violence, forced eviction/ lockouts or a significant catastrophic event. We also look to support Transitional Youth who might be aging out of foster care.
Having an ID is crucial for employment and obtaining a stable income. It is also important when trying to get housing and signing a lease. For Unhoused Community members with children it is necessary for education, when enrolling them into school. Also when trying to access medical care and social services.
The program provides two services; replacement identification documents and secure document storage.
For the replacement identification documents we assist unhoused community members in obtaining at no cost to them, replacement identification documents like birth certificates and other supporting documents.
We also help our unhoused community members prevent loss, theft, or destruction of identification documents by storing them safe with us

Project Title: Educational Access Fund
Project Description:

Through our Educational Access Fund, the Frazier continues to prioritize Title 1 funding for school field trips and create equitable paths of access for Louisville youth and families. As we increase the quality of our program offerings, we also acknowledge that there is an increased need from the audience that we serve. The increased demand for programming reflects the success and expansion of our educational and community-based initiatives. We continue to grow our partnerships with local youth-serving nonprofits, who partner with us for camps, family days, and exhibitions. We work with Big Brothers Big Sisters, University of Louisville, and YMCA to ensure that children and students have equitable access to our programs, camps, and field trips, and nonprofits like Louisville Grows, the Food Literacy Project, Adelante Hispanic Achievers, and Play Cousins Initiative for family days and holiday programs. The Educational Access Fund ensures free access for Title 1 schools and expands outreach to youth-serving organizations, such as YMCA Safe Place and Americana World Community Center, deepening the museum’s mission to make history accessible to everyone. This year more JCPS schools qualify for Title 1 funding than ever before, and our goal is to make sure that we can meet this growing need and deliver thought-provoking programing to our community. In 2024, nearly 3,000 JCPS students were able to visit the Frazier at no cost thanks to our title 1 funding and the Educational Access program.
