Project Description:
The For the Health of It: Empowering Student Wellness initiative is a comprehensive high school wellness program designed to improve the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students. Through a combination of wellness education, physical activity opportunities, stress-management strategies, and student leadership development, this program will equip students with the tools needed to maintain healthy lifestyles.
The project will serve approximately 150 high school students and will focus on addressing key health concerns including stress, physical inactivity, and lack of awareness regarding healthy lifestyle habits. Funding from the For the Health of It Project will support wellness workshops, fitness equipment, mindfulness resources, and student-led wellness campaigns.
