Project Title: Equipping Learning Spaces for Growing Students.
Project Description:

Onward Christian Academy is a K–12 hybrid Christian school serving families in Central Virginia. Our mission is to partner with parents to cultivate students who grow academically, spiritually, and in servant leadership.

In recent years, our school has experienced steady growth as more families seek faith-centered education. However, due to rising facility costs and several relocations, our classrooms currently operate with limited and aging resources. As we continue serving students during this period of transition, we are working to ensure that their academic experience remains strong, stable, and well-equipped.

Funding from the Hermanowski Family Foundation would support the Equipping Learning Spaces for Student Growth project, which will provide essential classroom resources that directly impact student learning. These include student Chromebooks with a secure charging cart for high school classes, durable classroom tables and desks to replace worn furniture, and stackable chairs for the art program to allow flexible learning environments.

These resources will allow teachers to better support instruction, technology-based learning, and creative expression while serving students from kindergarten through high school. By providing reliable tools for learning, this project will strengthen daily classroom experiences and help students reach their full academic potential.

Ultimately, this investment will ensure that students have the practical tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed as we continue building a stable educational future for the families we serve.
This project will directly benefit 420 students ages 5-18 by providing tools of learning, enabling them to be equipped to reach their fullest potential.
