Project Title: RCDC Summer Youth Camp
Project Description:

Refuge Community Development will be hosting a youth summer camp that will focus three core areas
1) Mental Health & Education
2) Health and Nutrition
3) Let’s get Active
1)Mental Health and Education will focus on youth 8-21 helping with social emotional support, suicide prevention, and career path choices.
2) Ages 6 -21 can learn healthy food options and prepare meals with a local chef. Each participant will have a six-week culinary experience and learn health and nutrition. Each participant will also be able to take produce home to prepare with an adult healthy food options learned inside the camp.
3) All ages up to 21 can enjoy Let’s Get Active. Movement, exercise, nature experiences and field trips will keep our kids’ hearts pumping throughout the summer.
