HER Next Generation Initiative, 2026
Program Summary:
HER Next Generation Initiative expands access to sports, wellness, and leadership opportunities for girls ages 8–18 in Dallas ZIP code 75247.
The program removes financial barriers to participation through equipment access, structured mentorship, and organized athletic engagement.
Equipment Request:
• Yoga mats
• Yoga blocks
• Youth swimwear
• Swim caps
• Kickboards, goggles, pull buoys

Funding Request: $10,000 toward our Annual “Walk With HER” 5K team sponsorships –
which will support 4 teams of 10 youth girls ages 8-18. And $8,000 toward Strategic Self Care Activities for Youth Girls who will learn to be able to always include themselves first in regard to both physical and mental health and wellness. Wellness activities will span a 3-part series over 6 weeks- learning to rest, relax, release with modules on yoga and mindfulness, water meditation and relaxation and sound bowl therapy and music therapy.
