Project Title: Gearing kids up for success in South Louisiana
Project Description:

NorthShore Robotics is a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to STEM opportunities for low-income and low-access families. We help students ages 5–15 start and participate in competitive robotics teams, giving future engineers hands-on experience in problem-solving, teamwork, and technology.

Our mission is to build a thriving STEM community across Louisiana by ensuring that every child—regardless of background—has the opportunity to explore engineering and innovation. While this goal can be challenging as many communities face declining access to STEM resources, we believe that with strong partnerships and community support, we can change that trajectory.

We are seeking support from your foundation to sponsor two of our robotics teams this year. These teams will be located in Washington Parish, Louisiana, where access to STEM enrichment programs is limited. Our teams are completely free for participating families, meet weekly throughout the year, and compete in regional and state robotics competitions.

This year we expect to support up to 40 teams across the region, and your support would directly enable two teams of students to gain access to transformative STEM experiences that inspire confidence, creativity, and future career pathways in technology and engineering.
