Project Title: "Painting Is Therapeutic" : Social, Civic and Health Engagement Wellness Series
Project Description:

Health & Wellness Engagement- To Bring/Add Joy and Strategic Self Care during these social – political times. Our foundation is dedicated to opening access to optimal healthcare and wellness activities for community members and families in the surrounding zip codes nearest our facility. This year, we are looking to support those who are looking for free, open-access activities that help bring joy/wellness/motivation and self care to those would normally not have access to state of the art facilities, workshops, activities.
We are doing that through Civic Engagement and Education that helps empower families through a series we have, called "Painting Is Therapeutic."
In 2025, we did our first 2 installations, with local private funders and it went off without a hitch!
This year, we planned a 6-month series, with professional art instructors who will teach, educate, motivate and inspire through art, while we also give health promotional information and free resources to those who attend.
