Project Title: Guiding Stars Mentor Program
Project Description:

The Guiding Stars Mentor Program, an initiative of Brittany and Devin’s Angels, serves youth ages 6–18 in Lubbock, Texas, with a focus on students from low-income and underserved communities. The program provides consistent mentorship, leadership development, and academic support to help students build confidence and long-term goals.

Through school-based mentoring sessions and weekend enrichment workshops, students engage in character development, college and career readiness, financial literacy, and social-emotional learning activities. Participants are matched with positive adult mentors who provide guidance and accountability.

The program also removes barriers to success by providing access to school clothing, hygiene items, and professional attire through our Clothing Closet and Mobile Clothing Closet initiatives.
Guiding Stars equips youth with the tools, resources, and encouragement needed to succeed academically and develop into confident, capable leaders prepared for life beyond high school.
