Project Title: Youth Mentorship & Community Empowerment Program
Project Description:
Youth Mentorship & Community Empowerment Program
Save By Faith Children Foundation Inc.
The Youth Mentorship & Community Empowerment Program is a structured, community-based initiative designed to support underserved youth ages 13–18 by providing mentorship, leadership development, academic support, and workforce readiness opportunities. The program seeks to address barriers that negatively impact youth success, including lack of mentorship, limited career exposure, and insufficient access to safe and constructive after-school environments.
Through a holistic approach, participants receive consistent guidance from mentors, educational enrichment activities, and practical life-skills training that prepares them for adulthood, employment, and higher education. The program focuses on building confidence, improving decision-making skills, and creating clear pathways toward personal and professional success.
Program Components
The project includes the following core elements:
Mentorship & Leadership Development:
Youth are paired with experienced mentors who provide guidance, accountability, and personal development coaching.
Academic & Life Skills Support:
Tutoring assistance, goal setting, financial literacy, communication skills, and conflict resolution training.
Career Readiness & Workforce Exposure:
Career exploration workshops, entrepreneurship education, skilled-trade awareness, and workforce preparation activities.
After-School Safe Space Programming:
Structured environments promoting positive social interaction, teamwork, and personal growth.
Community Engagement & Family Support:
Activities that strengthen family involvement and connect participants to community resources and opportunities.

Many youth in the Chicago-area communities served by Save By Faith Children Foundation face socioeconomic challenges and limited access to supportive mentorship and positive developmental experiences. This project directly addresses those needs by creating a consistent support system designed to reduce risk factors and increase long-term success outcomes.

Long-Term Vision
The long-term goal of this project is to establish a sustainable mentorship and youth development model that equips young people with the tools needed to become productive, empowered, and community-focused adults.
