Project Title: The Power Pathways Learning and Stability Lab
Project Description:

Power Pathways Learning and Stability Lab is an educational program
that will be delivered at 7801 Sailors Ln, Indianapolis, IN 46254. The
project will primarily
serve 20 middle school students in grades 6 through 8 and their
caregivers residing in Hamilton County to support students
experiencing house instability due to a family member’s substance use
or addiction. Delivery will occur at the Indianapolis site, with
recruitment and enrollment prioritized for Hamilton County
households. Funds will support direct instruction, wraparound family
supports, one to one counseling, STEM enrichment tied to literacy, and
measurement and reporting.
The model centers on structured small group literacy tutoring as the
primary intervention. Weekly STEM project modules are integrated into
literacy lessons to increase engagement and persistence. Abundant
Charities will lead family mentorship, housing navigation, caregiver
workforce readiness, addiction awareness, and clinical counseling.
Service Impact Respect will provide the afterschool delivery platform,
tutor training, and day to day literacy instruction and progress
monitoring.
