Project Title: Beyond Mentorship Program
Project Description:

The Beyond Mentorship Program is a program that was started to help to eradicate the lack of resources in Plaquemines Parish. Plaquemines Parish is a forgotten community with a rich history of growing from the land. Since Hurricane Katrina, those traditions have been lost, and we have lost access to resources that once made us fully sustainable. During the BMP, we help to eliminate the lack of fresh food, provide workforce development, and we provide a full-service food and necessities pantry that the community can access weekly. We are a full-service hub that also provides after school program from Pre-K to high school. Our program focuses on youth leadership, farming, enrichment, and the arts.
