Yoga 4 The Bay seeks support to bring weekly Yoga 4 Kids classes to Argonne Elementary School, providing consistent mindfulness, emotional regulation, and movement education for students in grades K through 5. This initiative meets a growing need for early mental health support by equipping children with practical, trauma-informed tools to manage stress, build focus, improve behavior, and foster resilience. Classes are held once per week during the school year and are designed to be inclusive, culturally responsive, and rooted in social-emotional learning principles. This program supports academic readiness by helping students enter the classroom calm, attentive, and emotionally balanced.

Argonne Elementary serves a diverse student population with many children facing daily academic and social stressors. Teaching mindfulness and yoga early empowers students with lifelong skills in self-awareness, breathwork, and community care.
