Project Title: YNOTT Impact Lives: Youth Health & Transplant Family Support
Project Description:

The YNOTT? Foundation (Youth Needing Organ & Tissue Transplants) seeks support for the YNOTT Impact Lives Initiative, expanding two critical programs serving pediatric transplant patients and at-risk youth in Ohio, Georgia, and nationwide through emergency assistance.
More than 2,000 children in the United States are currently waiting for a life-saving organ transplant, and thousands more live with chronic kidney, liver, and heart conditions that may lead to organ failure. Kidney disease affects 1 in 7 U.S. adults, and rising rates of childhood obesity, hypertension, and diabetes are increasing risk factors among youth—particularly in underserved communities where health disparities and lower donor registration rates persist.
Founded from my lived experience as a transplant recipient, YNOTT? understands that when a child faces transplant, families face more than a medical crisis—they face financial instability, emotional exhaustion, and difficult choices between work, housing, and being present at their child’s bedside.
Through the YOHA Family Assistance Fund, we provide emergency transportation assistance, temporary lodging near transplant centers, meal support during hospital stays, and limited financial relief. These supports help stabilize families so they can focus fully on their child’s recovery.
Through the YNOTTYOU? Initiative, we deliver youth-centered education on organ health, early disease detection, healthy lifestyle practices, and culturally responsive donor awareness programming.
Over 12 months, we will assist 40–50 pediatric families and educate more than 500 youth. Funding will provide immediate relief while advancing long-term prevention, strengthening vulnerable children and promoting health equity.

Total Project Budget: 71000
