Project Description:

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of the Southern Nevada Art Museum, opening in 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This landmark, 10,000 sq. ft. public art museum will showcase an extraordinary collection of works from both master and contemporary artists—creating an inclusive space for education, culture, and inspiration.

As the first public art museum of its kind in Southern Nevada, the collection will include works from iconic artists such as Picasso, Rembrandt, Dali, Dürer, and Peter Max, as well as contemporary masters like James Coleman, Donovan Fitzgerald, Michael Godard, Kre8, and many more—featuring pieces spanning over 500 years of art history.

In addition to being open to the general public, the museum will serve as an educational hub for all local schools and students—many of whom have never had access to an art museum. This will be a first-of-its-kind opportunity in our region for youth to study the works of artists who have become legendary figures in art history, and to gain exposure to a diverse array of styles, mediums, and cultures.
We will also be featuring artist spotlights and hosting special events, where contributing artists will be invited to attend, speak, and engage with the public—offering unique opportunities to share your story and inspire future generations.

The Southern Nevada Art Museum is a proud initiative of the nonprofit Equality Project, and your donation will support not only the arts, but also cultural accessibility, education, and community engagement across Southern Nevada.
