Project Title: Grace and Growth Girls Mentoring Project
Project Description:

Grace & Growth Girls Mentoring Project is a leadership and mental wellness program serving girls ages 8–18 in underserved communities throughout the St. Louis Metro Area. Our program provides structured, biweekly sessions focused on social-emotional learning, confidence building, academic enrichment, financial literacy, career exposure, and physical wellness.

Many of the girls we serve face economic hardship, trauma exposure, and limited access to positive developmental opportunities. Grace & Growth creates a safe, consistent space where girls are supported by caring mentors, licensed mental health professionals, and community leaders who help them build resilience, leadership skills, and healthy coping strategies.

Program components include mental health workshops led by licensed facilitators, literacy development, leadership training, STEM experiences, community service, and exposure field trips (including visits to media studios, state government, and cultural institutions). All programming is offered at no cost to families to eliminate financial barriers.

The requested $5,000 will support facilitator stipends, curriculum materials, transportation, meals, and program supplies to ensure equitable access for participants. This funding will directly impact approximately 30–40 girls during the current program cycle and contribute to our overall $25,000 program budget.
