Queen Me! – Reigning in Godfidence is the launch of a generational empowerment movement serving 50 Black girls in Lovejoy, Georgia, including 10 navigating chronic health conditions through our specialized Endurance Circle.
This initiative is deeply rooted in lived experience. Our founder, Joi, was chronically ill and bedridden for more than two years as a child. She spent three weeks out of every month hospitalized and was discharged only briefly to travel from Virginia to Maryland for treatment at the Children’s Hospital because local physicians could not determine how to treat her condition. Beyond the physical challenges, the most lasting impact was isolation — watching life continue while fighting to simply survive.
Queen Me! was created to ensure that girls facing similar challenges are met with community instead of invisibility.

The Reigning in Godfidence Day Soiree serves as the ignition point of a structured empowerment ecosystem centered on identity, resilience, faith-rooted confidence, mental wellness, and long-term leadership development. Participants will engage in guided workshops, creative expression, peer support circles, and licensed mental health engagement. Each girl will receive curated resources and access to continued mentorship pathways.
