Project Description:

Kyra’s Kids Elite is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering underserved youth through academic support, mentorship, life skills training, and athletic development. We serve children ages 8 to 18 from low-income and single-parent households, providing structured, trauma-informed programs that foster resilience, leadership, and long-term success. We travel to various colleges, giving players a look at college life, and we play in numerous 7-on-7 tournaments in those specific cities. This grant will help cover our travel expenses: lodging, transportation, tournament fees, uniforms and equipment (helmets). We tragically lost one of our players last year in a car accident; he used to travel with us to every tournament. We want to keep his name alive by naming the team after him.
