Project Title: General Counseling Program
Project Description:

Our General Counseling Program serves individuals, couples, and families and provides one-on-one therapy services to over 300 clients each year to provide emotional growth, healing, and recovery to strengthen survivors and provide safer environments. We serve hundreds more each year through referrals, group therapies, community outreach programs and public speaking engagements.

We are one of only a few agencies in North Texas to provide low or no-cost Play Therapy services to children from low-income households. Through Play Therapy, the healing process can begin as early as age 3.

Geographical Area Served: The target population for our program consists of low-income families and victims of child abuse, domestic violence or other crimes, ages 3 and up, living in Grand Prairie and nearby areas of Dallas and Tarrant Counties. However, we do not turn away someone who needs our help because they do not have a history of victimization.
