Project Title: Affordable Early Learning Access Initative
Project Description:

Kiddie Learning Lane Inc is a nonprofit early learning center scheduled to open in August 2026 in Hartwell, Georgia. Our organization is committed to providing affordable, high-quality childcare services for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children in a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. The purpose of this project is to expand access to reliable childcare for low-to moderate-income working families by supporting the operational needs of our early learning programs following the anticipated October 2026 grant award period.

Grant funding will be utilized between October 2026 and October 2027 to purchase educational materials, classroom supplies, age-appropriate furniture, learning technology, safety equipment, and curriculum resources needed to create developmentally supportive learning environments. Funds will also support staff training and outreach efforts to ensure families eligible for CAPS childcare assistance is aware of accessible enrollment opportunities.

By reducing financial barriers to childcare and offering structured early learning experiences that promote literacy, social-emotional development, and school readiness, Kiddie Learning Lane Inc. aims to strengthen family workforce participation while preparing children for long-term academic success. Our infant, toddler, preschool, and afterschool programs will incorporate age-appropriate instruction designed to foster creativity, independence, and positive peer interaction.

This project directly supports underserved families in the Hartwell community by addressing the growing need for affordable childcare options and ensuring children enter school with the foundational skills necessary for educational achievement.
