Project Title: PUT THE GUNS DOWN RALLY
Project Description:

There are an urgent need for youth and teens to put the guns down in this impoverished, marginalized county of Colquitt, the city of Moultrie, Georgia. It is important for us to understand the concerns and issues that impact black people in Colquitt County. Gun violence is indeed a major concern, and it’s unfortunate that there are currently limited to no engaging and preventive resources available. EPIC is motivated and rallying and working diligently to address the concerns of the founder and black people and find meaningful solutions to stop gun violence. We must put an end to youth/teens carrying guns and using them! Gang activity is also on the rise again. EPIC has on-going projects and is doing more than one thing to bring about awareness and changes in marginalized communities: Working with At-Risk youth in impoverished neighborhoods, bringing awareness and tackling (down in the trenches) maternal healthcare, Black youths killing one another, as well as other inequalities as they arises.
