Project Description:

Autism REC’s Life & Social Skills Program empowers children and teens on the autism spectrum with the practical tools they need to thrive at home, in school, and in the community. Designed to build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections, the program provides structured, hands-on learning in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Participants engage in interactive activities that strengthen communication, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and teamwork. Through real-life scenarios and guided practice, youth develop essential life skills such as personal hygiene, time management, money handling, decision-making, and self-advocacy. Social development is reinforced through group discussions, role-playing, peer collaboration, and community-based experiences that promote positive interactions and relationship building.
