Project Title: Bridging Learning Gaps: Free Tutoring for Underserved K-8 Students
Project Description:

Best Teachers Tutoring provides individualized, one-on-one reading and math tutoring for K–8 students who
cannot afford private support. We create customized learning plans based on each student’s needs and
learning style and deliver instruction by certified teachers, including licensed special-education professionals.
Services are offered through fully or partially subsidized scholarships and sliding-scale rates; progress is
tracked with teacher assessments and parent feedback to measure reading and math growth and
improvements in confidence and classroom engagement. The program targets students affected by pandemic
learning loss, learning disabilities, and socioeconomic barriers and will support an initial cohort of students
during summer and fall tutoring sessions.
