This year marks a major milestone—the 25th anniversary of Advocates for Youth’s Youth Activist Institute, which will take place September 4–8, 2025, in Washington, DC, at the Yours Truly Hotel. We invite Hermanowski Foundation to sponsor this landmark event. This isn’t just an anniversary—it’s a moment of urgency and opportunity. Young people (14-21) today are on the frontlines of the most critical fights of our time: for reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, immigration equity, and comprehensive education. These battles are deeply interconnected, and they require bold, strategic, and united youth leadership.

That’s exactly what the Youth Activist Institute delivers. Each year, we train and connect emerging ~100 youth leaders from across the country, giving them the tools, networks, and strategies to lead powerful movements for change.
