Project Title: Real World Ready Financial Literacy
Project Description:

The Foundation’s signature initiative provides high school seniors with culturally relevant, real-world financial education and scholarship opportunities. In 2024, the program launched at H.D. Woodson High School in Washington, DC and is now expanding to serve five schools throughout the DC and Maryland area.
Our financial literacy curriculum is delivered by certified financial counselors from Labor Federal Credit Union. These professionals bring years of frontline experience serving members and communities and are uniquely qualified to deliver engaging, practical financial guidance. Their expertise ensures that students not only understand key financial concepts but also learn how to apply them in their daily lives.
