Project Title: Camp Olmsted Renovation Project
Project Description:

We are requesting $10,000 from the Charles and Joan Hermanowski Foundation to upgrade the tennis and pickleball court facilities.

The focus of this project is to convert the tennis courts to pickleball courts with brand new “sport-court” flooring material, court and game lines, and equipment.

Our goal for the Olmsted program is to create an environment where children can not only have fun but also become better people. To achieve this, we are focused on enhancing the facilities through various renovation projects and efforts.

Total Project Budget: $45,000

Sources For The Project (Committed & Potential): Hyde and Watson Foundation (Potential) $20,000 and City Society Funds for capital projects (Committed) $15,000.

Project Duration: Four-Six Weeks
Geographical Area Served: The overnight camp program serves children from the NYC area. The day camp program serves children in the Town & Village of Cornwall on Hudson and surrounding area.
