Project Title: STEM After-school Program for Low-income Students
Project Description:
The Archangel Foundation is dedicated to providing immersive STEM experiences to historically disadvantaged students in the greater Miami area, empowering them to pursue academic success and explore career opportunities. Through strong partnerships with local youth organizations and schools, we offer a proven and proprietary STEM program designed by highly educated instructors to foster curiosity and academic excellence through after-school programs and enrichment field trips.
Our STEM after-school programs serve students from low-income households in Miami’s historically marginalized communities, including predominantly Black and Hispanic populations. These students often face systemic challenges, such as underfunded schools, limited access to enrichment programs, and economic barriers that impede their educational growth. By offering free or low-cost STEM education in subjects such as engineering, robotics, and electronics, the Archangel Foundation aims to break down these barriers and provide these students with opportunities to succeed academically and professionally. Our afterschool programs bridge the achievement gap through hands-on curriculum that promotes creative problem solving, boosting graduation rates and college enrollment for students who participate.
The Archangel Foundation envisions a future where all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background, have access to the tools and support they need to succeed in school and beyond. By providing low-income students with access to transformative STEM education, we are laying the groundwork for greater economic mobility, enhanced college readiness, and more diverse representation in STEM fields. Our efforts will not only help break the cycle of poverty but also contribute to the creation of a more equitable and inclusive workforce, ensuring that students from all communities have the chance to realize their full potential.
