Project Title: Our Girls Rock Too! Annual Programs Empowerment Initiative
Project Description:
Our Girls Rock Too! (OGR2) is a nonprofit organization based in Bulloch County, Georgia, dedicated to empowering girls and young women through mentorship, creative arts, and personal development programs. Founded in 2017, OGR2 provides a safe, inclusive space where girls can build confidence, cultivate self-esteem, and develop leadership skills that prepare them for success in life.
We are requesting $10,000 from the Hermanowski Foundation to support OGR2’s annual programs in 2025. Funding will help us continue providing dynamic workshops, enrichment activities, and community events that inspire and empower girls ages 10 to 17. Our programs focus on personal growth, creative expression, and positive self-image. Participants engage in activities such as vision board creation, journaling, team-building exercises, and empowerment discussions led by dedicated mentors.
OGR2 serves girls primarily from Bulloch County and surrounding rural communities in Southeast Georgia. Many of our participants face social and economic barriers that limit access to quality enrichment opportunities. By offering our programs at no cost to families, we help bridge this gap and ensure that all girls have a chance to thrive.
Grant funds from the Hermanowski Foundation will directly support program materials, supplies for workshops, transportation assistance, and stipends for facilitators and mentors. With this support, OGR2 can continue to provide a nurturing environment where girls are encouraged to embrace their potential and build the skills they need to become confident, compassionate leaders.
