Project Title: PERIOD. Youth Empowerment and Menstrual Health Program
Project Description:

PERIOD. is dedicated to eradicating period poverty and stigma through service, education and advocacy.We respectfully request $10,000 from the Hermanowski Family Foundation to support our Youth Empowerment and Menstrual Health Program, designed to directly benefit underserved youth in marginalized communities by providing free menstrual products, comprehensive menstrual health education, and leadership development opportunities.

This program aims to:

Expand access to menstrual products and resources in underserved communities.

Educate young people on menstrual health, combating stigmas, and fostering open dialogue.

Empower youth advocates to lead sustainable change through mentorship and advocacy training.

Funding from the Hermanowski Family Foundation would directly support purchasing menstrual products, creating educational materials, hosting community workshops, and training youth ambassadors. These activities will directly benefit more than 1,000 young people, aged 12 to 24, across multiple underserved communities throughout the United States.

By investing in PERIOD.’s Youth Empowerment and Menstrual Health Program, the Hermanowski Family Foundation will play a pivotal role in addressing period poverty and advancing gender equity through impactful education and community-driven advocacy.
