Project Title: The Innocence Project
Project Description:

The blissful innocence of childhood only comes around once for each of us; imagine if that were forcefully taken away from you. Sadly, children are being victimized every day all over the world. Approximately 300,000 children are sexually abused every year in the United States along with millions more worldwide.

Protecting Innocence Through Technology is a primary goal of Child Rescue Coalition’s The Innocence Project. This goal reflects CRC’s mission to rescue children from sexual abuse by building and providing advanced technology for law enforcement, free of charge, to track, arrest, and prosecute child predators. Since its 2013 founding, CRC has developed a global reach.

Over 10,000 law enforcement officers from all 50 U.S. states and 79 countries use CPS Technology. Through proactive partnerships with law enforcement, CRC tools have aided in the arrest of over 9,800 predators and the rescue of over 2,300 children from sexual exploitation and abuse. Partners include child exploitation investigators, police officers, digital forensic experts, prosecutors, child welfare agencies, and corporate and private philanthropists; all of whom work together to apprehend and convict abusers of children, rescue those in harm’s way, and ultimately, prevent abuse from happening in the first place.

Through CRC’s collective efforts with law enforcement, it has become possible to quickly track, arrest, and convict predators who use the Internet to destroy the lives of young children, and to rescue their innocent targets. CPS Technology gives law enforcement access to detailed information about abuse in their areas that they cannot access elsewhere. Wherever perpetrators use the Internet and ‘dark web’, they can be found, exposed, and STOPPED by law enforcement officials.

Total Project Budget: $350,000
