Project Title: Village Academy Intro to Ocean Exploration
Project Description:

Village Academy After-School Ocean Enrichment. This project is designed to expose Delray Beach youth to the ocean. The Village academy is a local K-12 school that has a great number of youth who are under-exposed to the sea and lack swimming proficiency. This project is designed to expose this group of youth participants in an emergence based educational experience which will include swimming lessons, Surfing lessons, marine and environmental education all free of charge to the participants. This Afterschool program will provide homework assistance and hot nutritious meals daily after programming.
