Project Title: Early Literacy for Lifelong Success
Project Description:

Fun Time Early Childhood Academy is seeking funding to support our Early Literacy Initiative, designed to enhance early reading and language skills for underserved children ages birth to 5 years. Serving up to 350 children across four locations, our goal is to ensure every child in our care has the tools to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.

This initiative focuses on providing classroom libraries, equipping each of our classrooms with a wide range of age-appropriate books to foster a love for reading. In addition to physical resources, we will host parent workshops that empower caregivers with the knowledge and strategies to support their child’s early literacy development at home. Teacher training will be a key component, ensuring that our educators are equipped with the latest research-based strategies to promote literacy in young learners.

To complement these efforts, we will also host literacy events that engage children and families in interactive, fun, and educational activities centered around reading. These events will create a community of support around literacy, inspiring both children and parents to view reading as an essential skill.

With your support, we aim to ensure that every child at Fun Time Early Childhood Academy enters kindergarten with the foundational reading and language skills necessary for academic success. This initiative will make a lasting impact on the lives of children, families, and educators in our community.
