Project Description:

Healing Hearts Pet Therapy provides trauma-informed mental health counseling integrated with animal-assisted therapy to support individuals and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our licensed professionals create personalized treatment plans and use evidence-based assessments to help clients develop coping skills and emotional resilience.

Sessions include trained therapy dogs or therapy dogs in training, whose presence helps reduce stress, build trust, and create a supportive healing environment. By combining counseling with the human-animal bond, we make therapy more engaging, accessible, and effective.

We offer services at low or no cost, ensuring underserved and low-income communities in Palm Beach County can access essential mental health care. We also track weekly progress, adjusting treatment plans to meet individual needs while ensuring the well-being of both clients and therapy dogs.

To continue expanding our impact, we are requesting $10,000 in operational expenses to support our mental health programs and accessibility initiatives, helping more individuals and families receive the care they need.
