Project Title: Ascension Safe Haven: After-School & Weekend Care
Project Description:

Ascension Safe Haven: After-School & Weekend Care is a community-based initiative aimed at providing a safe, supportive environment for children in an underserved neighborhood. With no nearby recreation centers, libraries, or safe spaces, this program seeks to fill the gap by offering after-school care and weekend activities that promote safety, education, and well-being.

Located within a 3-mile radius of limited resources, our facility will serve as a refuge where children can engage in educational enrichment, physical activities, and creative play. In addition to providing a safe space, the program will offer nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring children’s basic needs are met while they participate in fun and meaningful activities.

The goal of Ascension Safe Haven is to empower children by providing them with opportunities for growth, mentorship, and community connection, while giving families peace of mind knowing their children are in a secure environment. Our program will not only address immediate needs like food security and safety but will also nurture long-term development, fostering resilience and positive life skills.

Through this initiative, we are committed to making sure every child has access to the resources and support they need to succeed, thrive, and build a brighter future.
