Project Title: Coachella Valley Free Healthcare Clinic 2026
Project Description:
California CareForce (CCF), in collaboration with community organizations, will hold a 3-day FREE healthcare clinic at Empire Polo Grounds, in Indio, California, on March 6 – 8, 2026, providing free dental, vision and medical care to 150 children, 5 to 21 years of age. Offering free healthcare to children, of whom 85% to 90% are poor, living in poverty and are underserved not only improves their immediate health, but also has far-reaching effects on their quality of life and future achievements.
CCF requests the support of the Hermanowski Foundation, in the amount of $10,000, to fund the clinic’s disposable dental, vision and medical supplies that will provide materials to make 50 new prescription eyeglasses, 75 oral surgery dental kits for tooth extractions and 67 dental restorative kits for composite tooth fillings. Each pair of prescription eyeglasses cost $30, and each dental kit cost $60. With a grant of $10,000, the Hermanowski Foundation can provide the resources needed for CCF to provide 192 children with $165,000 worth of care.
CCF is more than just a healthcare provider; it is a lifeline. For low-income children, access to medical, dental, and vision care can be the difference between a life of struggle and a life of opportunity. CCF steps in to bridge this gap, offering compassionate, high-quality care to children who need it most. Imagine a girl with dreams as vast as the sky, but her health stands in the way. The high cost of healthcare often forces parents to choose between essential healthcare treatments for their children and basic necessities. When a child can see clearly, for the first time, they can excel in school and chase their dreams. CCF is transforming lives, one child at a time, ensuring that every child has the chance to live a healthy, fulfilling life.
