Project Title: PEP STEM, Literacy, Arts, & Athletics
Project Description:

PEP is asking for funding for its arts programs which directly coordinate with all our academic and mentoring activities.

The STEM, Literacy, Arts & Athletics Program looks to close the educational gap in the areas of science, math, and literacy including financial literacy, arts activities, and non-traditional sports for youth. Science and math projects, expanded arts activities, reading, poetry slams, banking, non-traditional sports, field trips, mentoring, and anti-bullying activities promote a well-rounded program.
Objectives and Goals:
The STEM program is for Grades 2-12 includes 3D printing, aeronautics, coding, engineering, and robotics.
After-school programming will provide tutoring with an emphasis on literacy and math.
Free STEM camps are operated on non-school attendance days.
Eight-week, summer program to bridge the STEM and literacy educational gaps.
Improves the access to higher education for youth and teens.
Objectives have expected outcomes and are flexible based on student’s levels.
Age-appropriate technology, engineering, and arts projects will be incorporated.
