Project Title: Golden Groceries
Project Description:

Our family Resource Center assist individuals from all walks of life with food resources, hygiene items and clothing. Our office is located on the east side of Las Vegas, which is an economically disadvantaged area of the city. We are constantly serving families and individuals on a daily basis who are in need. We have noticed an uptick in community need since the beginning of 2023, as record high inflation has driven grocery prices up nationwide, including by over 20% in Nevada.

As a non-profit 501c3, we rely on grant funding and donations to maintain program operations. Unfortunately, with the increased cost of rent and utilities, daily survival for those we serve has become very challenging. Families are residing in crime embedded zip codes due to lower rent costs and individuals are having to decide between "paying rent or buying food for the month". With your generous donation, we will be able to assist families in need and improve the lives of those we serve.
