Project Title: Young Leader Community Servathon
Project Description:

The Young Leaders Program is looking to provide resources to the low income residential areas of East Cleveland and Collinwood neighborhoods by hosting clothing and food drives, and other services to the community. By providing these essential resources to residents that are at a financial disadvantage they can work towards reaching their goal. The goal of these services is to raise awareness of positive impacts in the community and influence other organizations to collectively assist with the improvement of East Cleveland and Collinwood neighborhoods. The Young Leaders Program would like to request $5,000 in funding for the preparation of these services such as collecting community service materials, promotional supplies, transportation, safety gear, and rental space. The Young Leaders Program planned to host several community service events such as food and clothing drives, holiday events and community cleanup. The Young Leaders Program would like to propose a youth-led community service marathon starting in October 2024 till December 2025.
