Project Title: Youth Mental Health Program
Project Description:
Trusted Sources is a collection of front-line mental health advocates dedicated to making a difference. We proactively engage communities by raising awareness, educating, equipping, and empowering. Our goal is critical: to connect families to trustworthy resources early in the intervention process so that they can heal and thrive. Our society faces a mental health crisis, investing billions to fix broken individuals. However, prevention is critical. Trusted Sources focuses on going "upstream" by empowering parents and teenagers to build solid and healthy relationships that deter mental health issues.
Social Media and Internet Safety- We aim to assist parents, educators, and other community influencers in gaining a deep understanding of the inner workings of a young individual’s world by focusing our efforts on the perils and impact of social media. Our partner program is indispensable, particularly for parents of middle schoolers seeking comprehensive insight into the dangers posed by these platforms.
Peer-to-Peer Resiliency Groups- Students are convinced that collaborating to resolve their predicaments is paramount. Nonetheless, they require a secure environment (under reliable guidance) to engage in this endeavor. We assist communities nationwide in establishing these collectives by implementing our comprehensive four-part curriculum, which instills resilience and positions students and parents as catalysts for their healing. Additionally, we offer tailored church and faith-based curricula for our partners.
Tele Mental Health Platform—Trusted Sources is thrilled to collaborate with the Key Foundations Program, which provides accessible and affordable support through proven solutions.
Bridge the Gap- Bridge the Gap is a mental health discussion to highlight trends and early intervention solutions that educate parents and caregivers. We bridge the gap by hosting three different panel discussions, which include: 1: A parent discussion from those who have been through mental health struggles and their lessons learned and strategies, etc., 2: Teenagers and young adults discussion that focuses on how they made a shift in their relationship with their parents that helped restore their relationship and how that bond brought them through this crisis, and 3: Our counselors discuss how they focus on a family-based, trauma-informed care strategy that illuminates the fact that families that are connected are integral to healing any trauma for any members within it.
