Project Title: Creative Discovery Workshops for Children and Adults about Fine Crafts
Project Description:

Florida CraftArt offers Creative Discovery Workshops that introduce children and their families to fine crafts like ceramics, fiber, jewelry, mixed media, sculpture, and wood.
These workshops are conducted by professional artists who align their curriculum with Florida Sunshine State Standards. Students from diverse backgrounds, including those from Title I schools, homeschool groups, and special needs organizations, receive a handout with vocabulary, project description, history, and glossary.
FCA, established in 1951, is situated in downtown St. Petersburg and showcases over 300 fine craft artists in its galleries and exhibitions. It is open seven days a week, year-round, and is free for the public to visit.
