Mission: To transform lives through Gospel and uplifting music, fostering unity across all backgrounds.
Project Description:
We are establishing chapters in Flint, Michigan, and Salt Lake City, Utah, aimed at enriching the lives of youth. To ensure the success and sustainability of these chapters, we require funding to develop a comprehensive online training program for our leaders.
Training Components:
Vocal Training: Safe techniques for singing Gospel music, focusing on preventing strain and tension.
Stage Fright Workshop: Strategies to overcome nervousness and manage negative emotions.
Building Confidence: Activities to enhance self-esteem and emotional resilience.
Choral Etiquette: Guidelines on socializing and behavior with kindness, consideration, and respect.
Choralography Training: Basic choreography for choir members.
Director Training: Instruction on teaching vocal parts without sheet music, conducting basics, and leadership skills.
Song Creation: Guidance on writing and recording positive and inspirational songs.
Policies & Procedures: Framework for running a UGCI chapter effectively.
