Project Title: Planting the Seeds
Project Description:

This project has three primary goals; awareness, connection, and enrollment. Part of our mission is to create and hold space in high-quality constructivist early childhood schools for students and families who would otherwise not consider enrollment. Our school, only in it’s sec0nd year in a rural, underserved area of the county, needs to market specifically to families in need, connect with them by phone and/or email to build trust, then enroll their students in our program whether they can pay tuition or not. We need more preschool capacity in the area. We also need to protect existing capacity for excellent, learner-driven schools as well. Montessori schools, constructivist schools, have the best chance to expand access to education and enhance the culture of the educational community at large as our students enter the public schools. Funds granted will result in a much greater awareness in the community and lower barriers to access by families struggling with poverty or near poverty level resources.
