Project Description:

The Read2Lead after school program is for K-8th grade students from various schools in the Memphis, TN North Memphis area. We provide a safe, encouraging environment for over 200 students to receive homework help, nutritious meals and snacks and help with their reading and writing skills. For middle schoolers, we start to provide tools and lessons geared toward career readiness. This program is for students attending Title I schools and receiving free and reduced price lunch from their school. This grant would go toward covering after school program curriculum, technology, supplies, enrichment and field trips.
