Project Title: CHILL Tech Program
Project Description:

CHILL Tech Program is for 1 – 6-month, training programs that will provide 2 cohorts of 16- to 21-year-olds the opportunity to work with IT professionals and certified technicians to learn:
• Introduction to Information Technology (IT), including:
o IT Roles and Responsibilities
o Project management
o Software development
o Artificial intelligence
o Cyber-security
o Social-media marketing
o Break fix / help desk software and hardware troubleshooting
• Best practices in troubleshooting to identify and diagnose issues.
• Product knowledge, including Mac and PC hardware and software.
• Customer service skills and addressing the needs of clients in a professional manner.
• The program will also include site visits to local Information Technology (IT) companies.
• Upon completion, scholars will be able to keep the laptops that they will use in the program for hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Will receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the course
