Project Title: WallynZavys Transition Program
Project Description:

The WNZ Transitions program is a twelve-month open enrollment program focused on building post-secondary education interests and skills, work readiness, life skills, and independence for fifteen young adults (ages 16-21) with autism and learning differences. The program prepares students to explore career interests and options, prepare for employment, or enter post-secondary education/ training that leads to employment. The program’s caseworker uses multiple assessments to determine the participant’s needs and goals and assists the young adult and family with creating a reasonable transition plan and timetable. The caseworker will also assist clients seeking employment and refer them to the work-readiness employment counselor for training and employment assistance.
