Project Description:

The Young Women’s Leadership Challenge (YWLC) is dedicated to nurturing the capabilities and potential of high school girls in Texas. Our program focuses on developing key elements of self-esteem, including optimism, resilience, and a sense of competence, as identified by research. However, we go beyond by fostering critical thinking and a service-minded approach to mold confident leaders. Our goal is to empower 75 girls from the Austin & Houston areas as part of this grant.
