Project Title: Support for Guadalupe School’s Early Learning Center Expanded Capacity
Project Description:
Guadalupe’s Early Learning Center (“ELC”) programs provide early educational intervention to families and children of poverty, many of whom come from non-English speaking homes. The purpose of the Guadalupe Early Learning Center is to transform lives through education by providing high-quality early learning experiences, and family support so that parents and caregivers are prepared to be active participants in their child’s education and children are prepared for long-term educational success. Guadalupe’s Early Learning Center (“ELC”) programs provide very early educational intervention to families and children of poverty, many of whom come from non-English speaking homes, with the goals of 1) assuring that developmental milestones are met and the children are prepared to enter kindergarten ready to learn and succeed 2) ensuring parents are empowered educators in their children’s lives. The ELC comprises three different programs: In-Home Family Support Program, Toddler Transitions, and Preschool.
