Project Title: Serving Three Title I Teams
Project Description:

Girls on the Run Southern Utah is an independent chapter of Girls on the Run International. We offer a 10 week after school program focused on teaching girls social emotional skills, healthy habits, mental health coping skills, how to reach their goals, confidence building skills and more.

The program culminates in a community 5K where participants feel the accomplishments of their hard work and goal setting.

Approximately 60% of our participants fall below the poverty level and require financial assistance.

This funding request will serve 50 participants across three Title I schools. These participants’ families may not be able to pay their program fees without these scholarships.

Scholarships for 50 girls: $8,750
Shoes for 30 underserved girls $1,250

Total Project Budget: 34,595
