Project Title: Community Wealth Building
Project Description:

The Community Wealth Building Initiative (CWBI) is a comprehensive program dedicated to empowering youth aged 12 to 21 in underserved and high-need communities, fostering economic resilience and sustainable community development. By integrating elements of economics, social responsibility, equity, sociology, and community revitalization, CWBI aims to equip young individuals with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed financial decisions and contribute positively to their communities. CWBI’s primary objective is to enhance financial literacy and promote economic empowerment among youth participants.

Through a series of community-based workshops and events, CWBI endeavors to achieve the following objectives:

Enhance Financial Literacy: Empower participants with essential knowledge and skills pertaining to budgeting, job preparation, credit management, and community engagement.

Foster Intergenerational Learning: Facilitate opportunities for participants to learn alongside family members, creating a supportive environment for knowledge exchange and skill development.

Promote Community Engagement: Encourage youth involvement in community service and capacity-building activities, nurturing a sense of social responsibility and civic engagement.

Cultivate Positive Financial Behaviors: Empower participants to adopt healthy financial habits, such as responsible spending, saving, and investing, thereby promoting long-term financial well-being.

The CWBI program will comprise a series of interactive workshops and events tailored to the specific needs and interests of youth aged 12 to 21 and their families. Key components will include Financial Literacy Workshops, Intergenerational Learning Sessions, Community Service Projects, and Ongoing Support. Through CWBI, we aim to empower youth to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities, laying the groundwork for sustained economic resilience and community sustainability.
