Project Description:
To support black communities as they deal with the effects of generational poverty, AAEC will continue to implement Hour of Opportunity, a Youth Economic Mentoring Program for underserved, hard-to-reach, and hardly reached black kids ages 12-18. Our goal is to complete the objectives in 9 months. We will provide Financial Literacy Workshops, Career Exposure Workshops, Meet and Greet Sessions, and Field Trip Adventures. The goal is to empower the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs. We envision a future where every young person has the opportunity to explore diverse career paths, connect with industry professionals, embark on inspiring field trip adventures, and gain essential financial literacy skills.
