Project Title: 2024 Winter Nutcracker Ballet Performance – 2 showings
Project Description:

Our annual Nutcracker Ballet performances are full-length, classical ballets performed at the Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien, Washington. Momentum puts on the only full-length, classical ballet performances in Burien. These performances offer the community easy and affordable access to two full-length, classical ballets per year. Lead roles are danced by local youth at our highest level of instruction. Our ballets are beautifully costumed and set, giving the audience a high-quality and memorable ballet experience in their neighborhood! We promote our shows by creating posters for the community and having Momentum Students hand out postcards at Burien community events. As an organization Momentum has provided shows in the Burien area for 20 years. The goal of Momentum is to allow every student with a desire to dance the opportunity by offering full scholarships or work-study. We have a solid template for how all shows need to be managed and run because we are a non-profit organization that is overseen by the Momentum board.

We also receive other support from non-confirmed sources such as, City of Burien, Corporate, Business and individual donations.
